Tyre Prices and Shortages

Having a look they are fairly old tech now, there are GT's and GT2's since the STs. I reckon you'd find stuff like road 5/6's or the Roadtecs really good. But then they cost a lot more.

I had an ST on a Multi when i bought it. It was ok and lasted well. The GT2 gave more feel and grip in my head and they are supposedly comparable to Road 5

Yeah I think the Angel GT's, Roadtechs, Roads 5/6s, Road Attack 4's etc are all pretty much of a muchness. Modern tyres are bloody incredible, the road tyres feel like old sports tyres do but last twice as long. If I did some trackdays I'd get sports tyres but road tyres are more than good enough for me.

Been out on the GSXS this morning, a front tyre with more feel would be nice, but the rear is fine.

I asked the Suzuki dealer for a road 5 price and was told £430

I was smarting at £500 for two pairs fitted to loose wheels (Pirelli GT on one set and Roadtec 01 to the other).

I need the grippiest ones available because I don't dither round like an auld poof; I gan it reet over.

You need two more clicks of rebound to make the tyre perfect.
