I think I like the single centre strip best, but you would have to change the design a bit and maybe more white than red. The full sticker as is, seems a bit too much for me.

Getting more used to the QS on this now, due to the lever position you ride with your toe a little further away from the engine casing, which means you use the rubber part instead of the arm.... It's getting lovely and smooth the QS now.

Trying to practice getting harder on the brakes but the reality is that on the roads i ride, that's not the easiest thing to do due to surfaces and to be honest, not really needing to.

Decals are still in place

Only downside is that today showed my KTM jacket is useless on the bike... it's the one both me and tricky have but it just blows up too much with the wind compared to the retro style jacket i have.
I may even consider going leather over the next few months, but they are a bit 'short' for me really.

You’ve got ABS, get to 80mph and grab front brake as hard as you can. It’s amazing how quick it’ll stop and then you’ll know how hard you can brake. Amazed more folk don’t do this as it’s safe with ABS

But in reverse, all racers take if off as it does sap power a bit. If was still riding tracks, I'd bypass mine.

But I do sort of like the rear ABS as the rear didn't have too much feel on previous ones and locked easily.

I only tried that as you kept suggesting it.... goes against almost 40 years of riding while braking properly without ABS and i didnt really like it but i can see it works

I wont make a habit of it as my other bike doesnt have ABS

My Suzuki is my first bike with ABS, it's pretty impressive, the bike just stops when you brake hard.

Doing it when coming into a corner at 75mph I don't really see the point.

It’ll also show you how you’ve probably only been using 50% of the capability. I don’t see a downside to knowing how late you can brake. Even if you back off a bit you’ll be able to brake later and in control

I did a day comparing the 790 to an 890r with someone from ride magazine a couple of years ago - I remember him chatting about when they were testing the cornering abs on the 790. They were basically told to lean the bike as far as they could and then slam the brakes on, and it just worked! I’ve not been brave enough for that yet!
