To be fair, when I used to watch super moto racing I really enjoyed it, I even went to Belgium to watch it.

It's changed a little since i watched it and the coverage isn't as good in terms of commentary, along with a fair few names i don't know...

But a few i do... including Bussei !!!! Still bloody going !!!

The courses look harder to overtake on now, but that may be the bikes, the riders or the courses i dunno.

Yup, he's still very much the same.

One thing i did notice is... no-one sticks their leg out now in corners... i assume it's a ruling but not looked into it.

They were having a dab on the dirt section in the second event but no leg dangling on the tarmac bits.
What a shame there's no UK round I wouldn't mind watching that, it looks quite viewer friendly on a compact track.

I went to a few rounds of the British Supermoto Championship in 2004ish, the tracks were a bit poor and the whole thing was poorly organised, which was a shame, because it has an amazing amount of potential, electric Supermoto in a London park could be an amazing experience.

I know Bemsee ran a few rounds of the winter supermoto series around very early 2000's at a few tracks around the UK as i marshalled at ones at Snetterton, maybe Croft and Cadwell .....we used the infield around Bombhole, Corams and Russells and turned it into a dirt section. Dave Jeffries and a few other of the TT/ BSB lads used it as winter training as well as the regular SM lot like Ady Smith. It was fucking freezing with ice on the ground at times and frozen dirt till it was worn down but the SM lot thought it was hilarious and DJ was fast as fuck and always laughing his head off shouting at other riders as he made his way through
