Hi-Viz - conclusive

Post by Horse »

Yes, wear hi-viz to be seen, conclusive proof.

Someone sent this to me. No idea why they thought I'd be interested ...

Maybe it's the 'wear hi-vis and blend in with all the other hi-vis wearers' thinking... just got a bit confused about the time.

Mind you the dark hoodie / no helmet didn't mean I didn't spot the yoof on the MX bike on the North Circular yesterday.

Few years, about 5.30 on a Sunday afternoon, Filly saw someone in our back garden. Turned out that his mate was in next door, having kicked in the gate.

When plod, me and a neighbour caught up with them, the first words were not "I say, officer, unhand me!" No, it was "We dint nick nuffin"

Not the brightest bulb in the packet. We already knew he wasn't, because - on a sunny afternoon - the guy was quite conspicuous: ginger hair and a silver and orange jacket!

And another example of hi-viz as camo:

Police also received further reports that two men in orange fluorescent clothing fled the abandoned vehicle.

They left the wheels on the truck ;)

Newbury was, one year, murder capital of the Thames Valley. There were three and a half murders. Plod were convinced about one death being suspicious, but the autopsy was inconclusive.
