Yup. It was a long time before it came available on CD but it was worth waiting for. With the other dialogue clips worked in it's almost like seeing the film, but in your head.wheelnut wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 9:13 pmProbably one of the best soundtracks of all time.Count Steer wrote: ↑Thu May 19, 2022 6:44 pm Vangelis.

I quite liked his work with Jon Anderson (he was actually invited to replace Wakeman in Yes).
( I think it's best to quietly pass over his time with Aphrodite's Child though ).

Thanks to the wonder of Spotify's 'if you liked that you may like this' algorithm I landed on Aphrodite's Child*...it may well have been 666...and listened with a kind of childlike awe...Vangelis+Demis Roussos! Then I listened to it all again.Slenver wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 9:02 amWhaaat?! I admit that I haven't listened to the whole album through for a while, but I do genuinely stick The Four Horsemen on quite regularlyCount Steer wrote: ↑Fri May 20, 2022 9:31 am Thanks to the wonder of Spotify's 'if you liked that you may like this' algorithm I landed on Aphrodite's Child*...it may well have been 666...and listened with a kind of childlike awe...Vangelis+Demis Roussos! I'd forgotten all about this one but when I heard that the great composer was decomposing it popped into my head...

Didn't even break 70. Lots of people will know him from Goodfellas and Hannibal but I think I first saw him in Something Wild and he was just plain scary! (Melanie Griffith was quite memorable too ).
