How much longer will they keep you banged up Nogs?

Surgeon's probably erring on the side of caution, it'll only hurt when you're jumping over fences or break-dancing 💃
Phew! I don't do either of those!!!

He wouldn't commit on skiing tho - told me I have to see what my resort physio says as he'll know more about the knee by then than anyone else - crossed fingers!!

I suspect if it was just the knee, I'd be out in 3-4 weeks or sooner. But it's both knee and shoulder, so I'm not sure. I think they would like me out mid June (recovery depending), but as there is no physio in resort until the end of June, I can't go back until the leg is strong enough to take my weight and the Ducati! Cos riding the bike is the only way to get to physio before the resort physio gets back!!! So if all goes well and I can support me and the bike on the bad leg, then it might be mid June!!

So, for now, I don't know. But at least I have some friends just down the road that can help me with things if I need shopping or just some friendly faces!! :D :D
Well, good luck with it  Don't do what I did....decided snowboarding was easier on the knees than skiing...and broke my wrist on the first holiday.

It's sort of lucky that I blew the main fuse as I wouldn't have noticed the rack/grab rail had cracked. The cameraman on Saturday may have come a cropper.
So popped round to a pal's and got it welded. Busy day. Now beer O'clock

Oh, I know snowboarding is easier on the knees but I'm scared of the look the physio will give me if I go snowboarding    I did manage to learn when I first came out to do seasons, only injury was dislocating my thumb!!! But if I do relearn, it'll be after the metal is out and on very soft snow!! LOL

Oops, I forgot..

When I went to my pals to get the rack welded, I obviously went on the bike.
He's 7 bikes but all steady. But he does love motogp and the sound.

So obviously left his place full scream. 1st up. 2nd up at 120 ish.
But buggered up 3rd so it dropped fast and me flip flops buggered up.
Had to ride half a mile bare foot :obscene-birdiedoublered:

Popped out on the bike in the break in rainy weather to bank two cheques. One made out by funeral home to myself instead of church, so I need to transfer funds to church now. Car in at garage for full service, brake and coolant fluids, two new drop links as they are finished (lots of speed humps in our area) and expensive oil... but has a turbo, so I'd rather spend the money. Oh and MOT. Fetch wife on bike if she does not want to take the bus. Car is back after 5pm.

 :angelic-green: Very squeaky clean. All parties emailed and know the full amounts set by the PCC, so no wriggle room. I was recently given £200 cash for taking a funeral, I handed it to the hardship fund as I don't take payments, but as they insisted I said the money would be well used.

I've got my charity pension, state pension and church pension. All kick in at 68, so that will be what we live on and I do hope it is sufficient!

Woke up early
Mowed the lawn
Broke the lawnmower
Now just waiting for a chap to come and pick up the last of my rifles
