Yeah negative CTEs are absolutely a thing, that's why I said "pretty much". Like I mentioned, carbon fibres generally have a negative CTE, so it's not uncommon to use composites to make a 'bespoke' thermal expansion - we used to do it so we could make intermediate connectors which join two things with vastly different CTEs.
I'd be amazed if this is effecting cheesy's tyre pressures though
