IMO it is and it isn't. I'm surprised how well it works at reasonable speeds. Of course it'll go batshit if you want though

Permanent plug put in the tyre now so hopefully that'll hold. The tyre pressure was 36 this morning so it was loosing a little via the temp plug (gonna ignore Big Cheese's thread for now!). Hopefully that'll be it till about 3k miles, don't know how long these Dunlops will last.

In the office tomorrow so pending weather I'll ride it to work. #

Also having a think about a West Country run at some point staying with my Uncle in Yeovil, need to have a think where I want to ride to from there.

The temp on is put in from the out side, the perm one is put in from the inside?

Yeah that. The temp one was like a mushroom and went in from the outside. This one the tyre came off and its a big flat piece of rubber with a plug on it that goes from the inside to the outside and is glued to the carcass of the tyre. And I'm guessing further held in by air pressure.

Pending route I might well pop in for a coffee

My uncle is waiting a hip op and is high as a kite on morphine in the meantime so might wait till after the op and we can have a few pints when I get back from blitzing the west country lanes :D

Not ridden the bike since the service as I've been busy or away, so 3 weeks now

But have a free morning tomorrow so gonna head out somewhere, not sure where yet but first ride where I can officially give it the beans. If I can find the room!

Not a terrible plan but having a few ciders at the pub on the village green tonight.

Maybe I'll take a pic tomorrow with the brightness turned down
