Or i can wait until Monday when i'm over at Peaslake MTBing with the boys from here and i'm only 30 mins away.

Can i wait, will i wait

Arguably i shouldn't do things like swapping an exhuast 4 days before trackday anyhow, we saw how that went with the simple engine casing cover 3 days before Silverstone.. So i really ought to just wait it out.
I think anyone who knows you can guess what you are going to do, or probably more accurately looking at the time you posted that, have done by now

So, are you back home yet?

Time will tell. I have absolutely no idea at this stage but for the price I thought it worth a try. I've wasted a lot more money on far more pointless stuff in the past

Looks tidy.

I bet you can't wait for the Winter to see how it fares with a good dose of salty road muck. 8-)

Lol it'll never find out. But I'm curious to see how it fares with general stuff yes.

That looks jolly good and tidies the bike up nicely there. I'm tempted by doing that as well, especially if the exhausts do not look that great in the first place. Looks like a cost effective treatment. I'm going to be a FWB now as well.

The cost wasn't too bad IMO, it was £140 for blasting and painting/coating.

Sadly i did mark it when fitting, which has properly irritated me, but the XSR exhaust is a fiddly sod to fit as the manifold studs get in the way, but it was the radiator bracket that marked one of the headers. Apparently they come a bit 'soft' as they're cured when on the bike.. But i can't do anything about that now. We're only talking a 2-3mm mark, but my thoughts are that the 2-3mm will be a weak point for corrosion. But hey ho, lets move on.

Other than that, it looks perfect, it's a properly nice job that's for sure.

TBH mate, i'm just back from a ride and i'll be impressed if it's still on there by tomorrow :)

It does have a tendency to show up any and every single bit of dirt, grime and mark possible.

I think it may be 'put back on the bike for sale' but after i'd painted it badly, i didn't have a choice in that anyway.
