The MTBers will be desperate for INEOS to call him back to road racing won't they!

2 races, 2 wins.

It was the way he did it yesterday too, stalking, dropping, gaining and then destroying.

It was interesting to find out he'd been having some issues with his suspension, seems to have been a problem with the dual/on-the-fly lockout system. You could notice on the last descent with drops he was losing ground to Dascalu, i was honestly wondering if simply he wasn't quite good enough in terms of handling, but that clearly was a little harsh on him. He then simply destroyed Dascalu in the last 200m.

He's quite simply, very very good isn't he.

Schurter's recovery after the puncture was incredible but you always thought "he's blown himself out getting back" and that TP would just ride off the front. That sprint was superb from TP - as you said he didn't look comfortable on the descent but that must have been mechanical because he's a superb bike handler.
