A bit of a dog's breakfast. Just looks untidy.

They could have used it to tidy up the cable routing.

I've not yet worked out if its the height of the fall (Coastal Redwood) or the number of branches (Yew) that does it.
Err, the clocks look ok though.

Re: VR1000 TRIBUTE: A TWO-FACED BUELL S1 FROM GDESIGN
My old bunch used to do loads of wrapped pipes for Rolls-Royce jet engines. These super sophisticated engines had pipes that were still wrapped by a bloke ("Treddy" was his name) in a flat cap using a pair of lockwire pliers to finish it. One of those things which is really hard to automate and which was only done by 2 blokes who probably should have retired already.

Am I seeing something that's actually something else, or have they left on the frame loop and pillion footrest hanger on the left side?
Or does it actually have another purpose?

Yup, you're right. It lines up with the top of the swinging arm.Mr. Dazzle wrote: ↑Sun May 15, 2022 9:34 am I think they've left it on both sides, its just black on the right?
Why leave them on? Perhaps an RT or sports-tourer is next

I was looking for the traditional block of wood
Stand mount is at the 'bike' end of the loop.
