Tiger 900 Rally Pro loan bike.

Post by gremlin »

Had a play on one of these whilst my Tiger 800XCX was in for a service.

Upped to 900 and the firing order has been changed. More 'twin' in feel now, torquier and more eager, though at the expense of smoothness. Works, mind. Very engaging to ride.

The riding position is bob on too. Narrower I think as it doesn't feel tall when you put your feet down. Handling is as good and the suspension feels confidence inspiring though maybe a touch too soft in places. Probably just need adjusting to suit me.

All the toys: shift assist, heated seats and grips, TFT screen and Bluetooth everything.

They've made the spoked wheels tubeless as well, a bugbear of mine in terms of practicality.

If anybody has a spare 13.5k they can throw my way, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

It'd look nicer, and less BMW like, with some side panels.

I like how they put the name of the bike on the handlebars, just in case you forget what you are riding.

As I switched it on, the logo came on the screen and 'Hello' popped up too.

I giggled as I read it as 'Hello, Tiger!

Problem with WFH I suppose, previously you could have just shouted that in the office.
