That's hideous :obscene-birdiedoublered:
Bbbut...it's been given a 'top rate colour refresh and powder coated wheels to give it that MT-10 look'.

I'm sat waiting for my 3 minute walk round video, spec list and hi-res photo's of the usual corrosion spots to be sent to me via Whatsapp.

The Black GS is a special edition Triple Black... Black Engine/Shaft/FD, Black Bodywork and Black Rims.

It's got Keyless Ride and Gear Assist Pro... and the all important spoked wheels.

It's pretty much the cheapest on the market for the age/miles and it's got the full three boxes.

Fingers crossed the service history pans out and it' as good as it looks in the low-res pics.

It'll match my Black Tour-X4 :)

Hmm. That is a bit odd. Why would you buy a new £20k Beemer with a warranty and then not service it? Even I've done that on a budget Suzuki!

Does a bike need serviced after only 900 miles?

I've called Guildford BMW.

They confirm they serviced it at 500, 1400 and 15815 miles.

I asked her to confirm there was no other services on their computer. She confirmed. I then asked if she had any history such as warranty claims and recalls, she said yes, but can't give it to me, GDPR and all that.

I can't imagine the owner went 13,500 miles without a service, or did he?

Talking of GDPR, the previous owner lived here...

Looking at streetview no wonder he needed a GS, his drive is a cart track!

Using myself as a (probably untypical) example,I bought my Zed new in 2020. I took the 600 mile dealer service because it was free, but I'm at 12k now and I have no intention of ever going back to the dealer for a service. I dump the oil and filter every 4k and ride on.

It's got them. There's three BMW services with official paper invoices from BMW Guildford.
02/09/16 - 552 miles (Running in check)
29/03/21 - 14000 miles £875.89
11/04/22 - 15815 miles £425.16

Everyone else I've spoken to is a bit meh about the lack of service between 552 and 1400, so maybe I should be too, it does come with a three month warranty afterall.

BMW can be a bit rubbish with servicing record data going missing.

I can go in, check the bike out and Chinese burn 'em until they tell me.

Most unlikely a BMW owner would go 13,500 miles without a service. They usually have complete dossiers including fuel fills, tyre pressures, each journey, wind direction, fuel consumption.....
