I -really- hate the leg thing, I don't know why, but it's probably because the level of riding over here is excruciatingly bad (the way they sit in the driver's blind spot waiting for them to notice and clear a path) and so most of the riders just wind me up.

But, drivers being nice is nice - so I just wave my thanks at the mover-overs, just to be different.

Also, as it's relatively low (compared to a hand), it's more likely to be missed.

Oh they definitely do understand the leg thing, it's absolutely rife, everyone does it (apart from me). And drivers being friendly and moving over on a scale I've really not seen anywhere else. I don't know why I'm complaining really, it's a great place to ride, even the LePlod are friendly to bikers as a rule.
