Krazy Horse late nites
Is on tonight, was going to wash the GSXS tonight for its service tomorrow but thinking maybe it should stay dirty for another few days, bikes are for riding init and it's only dust/flies.

It's Thursday, I've got work tomorrow, and I really don't think I can be arsed to ride 30 miles to spend time with a load of greebo, hipster wannabes on an industrial estate in Bury St Edmunds.

Krazy Horse is one of those things I'd like to like, but I really can't, nothing too much wrong with the concept, but the people who go there annoy the crap out of me, it's like Biker theme fancy dress night.

Well Mofo would be there.. he's fairly normal. So maybe you are mistaken in your impression of what it would be ?Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 1:40 pmI don't think I need to wait to retire, I'm already there.weeksy wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 1:32 pmlol you've got 'miserable old fucker' sorted when you retire... you'll be superb at it.Le_Fromage_Grande wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 1:25 pm It's Thursday, I've got work tomorrow, and I really don't think I can be arsed to ride 30 miles to spend time with a load of greebo, hipster wannabes on an industrial estate in Bury St Edmunds.

Re: Krazy Horse late nites
Only if it's changed from the last time I went.
I'm sure Mofo is normal, after all he owns a Suzuki (though he did have a KTM so I'm not sure)
I have to be honest, I find "biker" people fall into two categories, rough, council house types (which is far too close to home for me) or affluent well spoken types, pretending to be rough council house types.
None of the above is meant to be taken seriously btw before anyone gets offended.

Re: Krazy Horse late nites
To be honest I go mainly for the ride there/back. Krazy Horse is just a place to grab a burger/coffee. Tonight isn't the best of nights but I won't be doing much else.
Although I think KH itself is alright, sure there are some hipsters, some greebos and old duffers with money, but there are normal people. Plus I'll be going on my Jones so probably won't stay a huge amount of time. I was hoping my mate was coming but he can't make it till 8 and I'll probably be on my way back by then.

My friend might be going, I can tell her to look out for you, but she might try and kidnap you for her sex dungeon.

In fairness to her, I doubt if she's like that anymore now she's a grandmother.

Re: Krazy Horse late nites
Well that went well. Currently waiting on AA. Noticed (luckily) I have a nail in my tyre. Rode from KH to nearest petrol station and...7psi put 52 psi in and you could hear the air pissing out rapidly so can't ride slowly home so now awaiting the AA. Been a long while so far.
Asked at KH if they sell repair kits and got a flat workshop is closed so no help. Not that I think it's repairable as in the tread.
Only good thing is I noticed.
Supposed to be at St Neots Suzuki at 8am tomorrow so looks like I'm missing my first service so might have to not ride for a couple of weeks till they can fit me in.

Not a very friendly lot. I sure someone would, target the adventure bike textile wearers. Good luck anyway.
