Did you repack the rear suspension bell crank bearings with grease when you fitted the shock?
Was having a play with my shock and discovered a serious amount of play in the rear end (it's a yamaha thing), popped out the bushes to find literally a smear of grease on the bearings and none in the bushings.
Packed everything with grease and feels a lot better now.

No, but I guess that may be a winter job then

We've had a few messages, it's also now on eBay.
They're at £275+ post, I'm at £275 all in. We've not reached a middle ground yet. Sure it's only £10-15 I admit.

The black just suits the bike more. If I'd bought the mt09 then sure, the Scorpion is an easy choice. But I've got the xsr not the Mt

Still can't believe you go rid of the rear light, it matches the front and brings a balance to the whole bike.

Shame you couldn't keep it and the little bit of coloured mudguard and just got rid of the black bit.

Nothing is forever, when all with exhaust I'll weigh things up etc. I do get what you're saying though.

The original back light was awful, it would have made a ZH2 look worse

I'm taking the bike yeah, not with the XSR exhaust though. The time for doing jobs on bikes isn't a couple of days before a trackday, never ever. In the lead up to trackday just leave it well alone.

Well, you can, so i will. The Evotech performance one does exactly that and you're right, the rear bit on the light makes it an XSR rather than an MT09.







So as it now stands today.... we're back to standard.

Patience level testing at the moment... I think the exhaust is ready today, it's a smidgen under 2 hours to collect and 2 hours back...

Or i can wait until Monday when i'm over at Peaslake MTBing with the boys from here and i'm only 30 mins away.

Arguably i shouldn't do things like swapping an exhuast 4 days before trackday anyhow, we saw how that went with the simple engine casing cover 3 days before Silverstone.. So i really ought to just wait it out.

I'm all for making life pleasant rather than frantic. Very often we make our own luck.
I'd be inclined to wait and give yourself something to anticipate after the track fun is over.

I do understand impatience though...
