Hmmm, 4th and 6th in the Championship ahead of both works Hondas, one of the "official works" Ducatis (Miller) and both of the "Pramac Works" Ducatis, one of the works Yamahas. Rins only has Fab, Aleix and Enea ahead of him and two of them probably won't be by the end of the season, Mir has Pecco ahead of him - who probably will be!

Unsurprisingly Dorna have got involved.

https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/10020 ... lit-rumour

But I wonder who the other ''new' teams are?
8 Ducatis are enough.
The Yams are pants.
The Hondas are even more pants.
The Aprilia is still new.

Hmm

I've been wondering what direction Suzuki were heading for a while now,I think Suzuki bike designs have been lagging behind for a few years & this makes interesting reading, might explain a few things..

Yamaha Sells loads more MTs than sportsbikes, Ducati sell more Multstradas than Panis etc etc.
Suzuki don't have class leading Naked, ADV or even scooter. They need a decent volume product more than they need MotoGP (IMO).

See the post above yours - Suzuki are missing out huglely on the American leisure market. No side by side and next to nothing in the Enduro or MX market. The RMZ is non-existant in Supercross apart from privateer teams.

KTM and the rest are selling off-road bikes for £9k+, single cylinder, stripped to the bone, minimal lighting, cheapo plastic bodywork = big profits. Kerrching

Suzuki - zilch

That's why Iove mine :)20190402_135447.jpg
And very pretty it is too, but would you pay $4m for it and then a shred load more for someone else to ride it for you?

This is interesting....

But this bit is news to me???

If so, the obvious dates in the foreseeable future would coincide with MotoGP's introduction of ‘non-fossil’ origin fuel: 40% from 2024 and 100% from 2027.

Let's not forget that as well as Mir being on the market it also means that there's a WC winning crew chief and team available...............

I wonder how many will get GP berths though, lots of teams seem fairly structured and i get the impression they'll find it hard to stay in the paddock, they'll get a job somewhere of course, but i dunno about at GPs.... Although maybe a 2nd string Ducati team would fancy a few tech crew etc from a 'bigger' and winning team.
