M.D not racing the Ducati at this years TT
In a shock anouncement for the TT fans,Michael Dunlop now won't be riding the PBM Ducati at the TT.

I was listening to the Chasin the racin podcast with Paul Bird as guest the other week & he said they had budgeted for 5 motors at 30 odd thousand Euro's each to run the Ducati,if nothing else,it looks like he's saved the team a lot of money..

Re: M.D not racing the Ducati at this years TT
Not the first time Mr Dunlop has fallen out with a team a couple of months before riding for them at the TT…. Normally he runs his own bikes when the paid rides fall through and as far as I understand it he has a Superport and Stock 1000 bike already lined up and just needs a Superbike ride to replace the PBM ride
I must admit I was surprised when the initial agreement between Michael and Birdie was announced as it seemed like the irresistible force meets the immovable object in respect to the team management and rider combination

I don't know why it's so complicated.
"Oi Mickey, get on that and ride the hell out of it"
They don't have to like eachother... Just ride it and ride it fast.

TBH i woudn't put him on it... he's not up to it... Well, at the moment he's not up to a BSB top10.... so winning the NW200, nah, can't see it.Bustaspoke wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 3:22 pm No surprises here

HArrison is not a BSB racer though, apart from Hickman, none of the Road guys do well in BSB. But by the same reverse, i think any of the BSB guys these days won't set the world on fire in Roads. Rutter, Plater, Hislop, Foggy, those days are gone when riders would dominate on track and roads... it's too specific a sport if you ask me nowdays.Yorick wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 4:06 pmDean Harrison is barely top 20 in BSBweeksy wrote: ↑Wed Apr 27, 2022 3:23 pmTBH i woudn't put him on it... he's not up to it... Whenever riders comment on the Silverstone National circuit they say it's a bit of a one off circuit & not indicative of how things will pan out at most other circuits

Am I right in thinking Hicky and Harrison were the fastest last time, so who was number 3.

Conor Cummins and mind it was Dean who won the senior with Hicky second. Bike was overheating if I remember correctly. He had a huge lead which diminished.Dodgy knees wrote: ↑Thu Apr 28, 2022 10:09 am Am I right in thinking Hicky and Harrison were the fastest last time, so who was number 3.

Never met a Ballymoney man then?
Literally the dogs on the street could have seen this would never have worked out. Bird is a gobshite and Micky D likes everything done his way or else.
