Indeed. Esp as Pecco my no 1 rider knocked my no 2 rider off at Qatar. I should have just given up at that point :lol:

OK, some were trashed, but they put out the 5 minute rule signal.

Gutted for Jake but happy for Joe Roberts. A nice bloke.
Not sure either, I didn't know the 5 min rule signal was optional?
It happened right in front of us. The marshals were ace and once the last bike was bought out into the service road the crowd gave them a huge round of applause.

I believe they only have one bike per rider & I guess the teams didn't have time to fix the ones which could be fixed

They weren't all badly damaged. But all were barred. No exceptions.

It's in the rules, apparently, that the bikes have to be back in their garages within 5 minutes of a red flag.

Yes. I know that. But they implicitly said "all bikes involved in crash will not restart"

Some were rideable to pits.
