IMHO the SSP300 race was the stand out class.

As exciting as the main event only, more crashes, more overtakes, bikes that only hit 122mph on the straight!

Cracking race at the front now i finally got to watch it

Back further down Redding had a decent race after starting 13, dropped to 16th in the first lap or so and then worked his way to the front of that group and then crossed a 2.5 second gap to get amongst the top ten. Ended up cooking his tyre on last couple of laps to lose a place but it seems like progress has been made to get a 9th when it could have been top 6 without the first lap mess

Bit of a shitter for Lowes to get taken out by a rock through the oil cooler when Locatelli ran wide off the track onto the grass in front of him

I’ve seen the footage from all angles including JR’s forward facing camera and Toprak’s rear facing camera and as much as it’s a racing incident which it is, how the fuck you can blame anyone other than JR beggars belief.

Still not a fan then ?
Didn’t they both put it down to a racing incident.

Oh I absolutely agree but it’s the comments that I’m seeing up on social and a few comments by the commentators that say differently.

And my comment clearly states that I think it’s a racing incident, they always are to a certain extent.

I find it funny, all those crazy overtakes last season from Toprak and he never wiped any cunt out, JR wipes out Toprak trying to make a pass when Toprak runs wide and he ploughs into him from an angle because he himself ended up running wider than he had planned.

This may be the story of the coming season. The rider between the top three who can keep out of trouble will lift the championship. Judging from what has happened so far, that won't be easy.

One swallow does not a summer make. We've seen MVdM get it near the sharp end once or twice, even LAverty... I wouldn't put Scott in the contender for a podium regularly until he's done it a few times. I think the track suited and circumstances/retirees helped rather than a massive improvement.

Everyone’s argument is JR was ahead when they collided but that means nothing when you come across at an angle and hit the other rider.

You can clearly see that Toprak is hugging the kerb which he did the whole time, he ran wide to the kerb then maintained that line and not once did he move back across

On the other hand JR tries to take a tighter line but runs out towards the kerb where Toprak is and blooters him. His onboard shows this and so does Toprak’s rear view footage. 100% JR’s fault.
