Wouldn't you prefer pink stripes?KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 11:53 am The dark blue matt ones look the bestest, imho.
Almost classy... for a Suzuki.

You buy one pink bike and you're tarred for life!
I wonder if you can make the TFT display on the Kat look like the originals clocks, they were the coolest thing about the Katana.

Re: 1000 Katana
On the basis it's the same as mine in a different jumper it should be a cracking bike and I like the looks.
Looking at prices of Kat's and GSXS 2nd hand mine was def a bargain although technically 2nd hand.

Re: 1000 Katana
Yeah I quite like that. The dark one looks the best, but the silver one is more faithful to the original Katana.
Often in their bid to tap the nostalgia gold mine, manufacturers end up offering something which is a pastiche, but unconvincingly so. This manages to look modern and still tip the hat to the rose tints.

Ooh! I rather like that. (Apart from the rear light/number plate arrangement).KungFooBob wrote: ↑Tue Apr 19, 2022 11:53 am The dark blue matt ones look the bestest, imho.

Re: 1000 Katana
Do you not think they're trying to cash in a bit. Did Baza ever ride a Katana?
Also, I can't see Faberge without thinking of ornate metal eggs.

Re: 1000 Katana
If you want a 1000, knock your socks off, but it's not a katana.
Imo the big S dont make a decent looking big non sports bike.
When Suzuki US started using the katana moniker for the late model teapots, you knew they had little to offer punters.

Re: 1000 Katana
I think it would look a lot better if the bars were 3 inches forward and down, the front looks like two different bikes glued together.
