One of the last trackdays I did there was a bloke on a Ducati 1098 with slicks and warmers in the novice group. My mate was saying how slow he was and was near back of the pack in the novices.
Which was probably nothing to do with tyres or tyre temperatures. :lol:
You're right but my point it that he'd have been better off with road tyres at those speeds as slicks wouldn't have been been at their best

I have them and I'm in novices. I don't need them but the tyres feel the same at the start of the session as they did at the end of the last session which makes me happier and means I can make the most of the learning time a whole session gives me.
