I voted for Brexit. After much politicking from the likes of May Johnson did "get it done" and (imo) later events, fortuitous perhaps, have proved Brexit to be the right decision.
That sentence, I think, illustrates how two people can see the exact same events play out and come to diametrically opposed views as to the outcome. In my view Brexit has been and will continue to be a clusterfuck and omnishambles of the first water. I cannot see any positives to it.
It didn't have to be this way; we could have negotiated a Brexit that allowed us to leave, but still retain a reasonable amount of the benefits of EU membership, but the hard right ERG and their chums made sure that didn't happen.
And that is why arguments occur on forums, I guess.
And we're supposed to believe that these powerful high thinkers are plotting to pull the wool over our eyes by hiding the truth, secrecy, plot, censorship and skulduggery?
It's simply not necessary. They lie and cheat to our faces and the majority lap it up and say please more Sir!. Even those who now hate the terrible incompetent incumbent, have been conditioned to hate even more the terrible rainbowsexual, immigrant-loving, anti-Semite, Primark-shoed Marxists on the opposition benches. As expertly noted above.

I thought that in UK politics these days, all you have to do is apologise.
That seems to make everything OK.
Or deny it through the medium of lying. Or brush it off saying it doesn't really matter. Or just point at Diane Abbott's shoes.
So many were so vocal about 'getting it done' and are too arrogant to admit they made a major mistake; so have to double down on that bad decision.

However, Johnson has since been a liar and ducker and diver, and should go. To be replaced by who exactly? Certainly not by Captain Hindsight Starmer and his gang of knee taking gender bending biology deniers. There's the rub.
Interesting mate, what positive have you seen from brexit ?
I’ve not seen one tbh but am open to be educated
At a guess, taking our own path on covid vaccines?
I don't know whether taking part in an EU bulk buy was actually 'mandatory' for members, but Matt Hancock's allegedly Hollywood-inspired plan took us of on our own.
Edit: but no idea of any others. Apart, perhaps, from fiscal stimulus of the preparations, about to come to an end with many,000 redundancies.

There was an EU vaccine "policy" for want of a better word, which countries were free to join or not as they chose. Had we still been in the EU and chosen not to join the COVID vaccine club the outcome would have been the same.

That may have been done to death in at least one, or maybe two thread of its own.
Brexit has been done - so perhaps we can keep this about the lying , completely morally corrupt turd in No 10 , who could lead anything other than is cock into the next willing bit of muff.
Talking of which, his wife is no better ....

For example, the UK was able to expedite the development of Covid vaccines whereas if it had still a member of the EU it would have (arguably) been subject to the glacial decision processes of the European Commission.
