Oh, I get that smart phones and stuff eventually get forced into redundancy but this is just a clumsy app update released without checking that it works properly on a reasonably common platform. I suppose I'll have to wait for a fixed app or a firmware update for the streamer (a real pain to install). Meanwhile Spotify is taking £10/month. Maybe time to cancel and think about paying again when they fix it.Noggin wrote: ↑Tue Apr 05, 2022 1:49 pmI've got that with quite a few things now. I use an old (very old!) ipad to put things on the tv through an apple tv. But I can't put quite a lot of apps on it cos it's too old, can't use a VPN that I want on it . . . . . I should replace it, but it works fine - apart from being too old for lots of things!!!Count Steer wrote: ↑Mon Apr 04, 2022 4:28 pm Bah! Blooming humbug. Software updates. Suddenly my Naim streamer in the living room errors when contacting Snotify. Lo! The more modern one (Muso) in another room works fine. It looks like a recent Snotify update isn't compatible with the older streamer. Much chatter and wailing + gnashing of teeth on the user forum. From Snotify and Naim? Not a peep.
Bum.
PS If you do need to replace your phone giffgaff do pretty good prices on 'last years' phones.
