Am I the only one surprised that the front wheel is still on the floor?

Passed the venue I got married in back in 2008 so thought I'd stop for a piccy. Not been through the Rodings for a while, forgotten how good the road is.

Before a stop in Maldon for lunch. Was positively chilly when I got there and the hot drink was much needed.

There's a lovely campsite in those woods behind the beach, we've stayed there a few times.

You must have just missed MAC as he was up there this weekend as well with his daughter on her bike as well. If the cafe had not burned down you might have stayed long enough to bump into each other

I found an ace little country road today, about 6 miles of often tight and twisty with a lovely smooth and clean surface. Not another vehicle on it and cool scenery too. You could stay under the national speed limit and still have fun.
Temperatures are definitely on the way down again, but bright and sunny still,so I'll take that.

Ha,I am a being with a notoriously bad sense of direction! I can't tell you the name of the road, but if you come out of Carnlough away from the coast towards Broughshane, there is a sign on the left for Glenarm 'scenic route'. That's as good as you get from me.

I know it - one of our "explore" roads on our way up the coast for the NW. We'll be there in a couple of months, first time for 3 years. Thanks, Cv19.Skub wrote: Tue Mar 29, 2022 8:06 pmHa,I am a being with a notoriously bad sense of direction!
