Had to work. It was a job from Last Wednesday but the road outside the house was getting resurfaced and nearest parking was to far to be lugging all the tools back n forth so sacked that job till today. Bloody scorchers as well so quite happy i did. Nice relaxing job in the sun.

For £710 it would have to be way better than good and be enough for 3 or 4 days!

Binned the old lights off the back of the camperbus and fitted LED ones. Made a mistake somewhere as the high lever tail lights are coming on with the reverse lamps. Took the four rear wheels off and fitted valve extenders what allowed me to blow up the inner two wheels for the first time in two years Ach they were at 17 and 24 psi, what could go wrong All six now at 50psi. As i type this i just remembered i forgot to rewire my reverse camera. Strimmed and cut the back grass washed and hung my work clobber, Did the shopping and helped a neighbour shuffle Belfast sinks about his garden.

Had a night out in Honiton with Lotty and Mick. Fizz pulled out coz of covid scare.
The old timers know how quiet Lotty is normally. She was even more quiet after 4 pints of Stella

Re: What have you done today thread?
Today I've been thinking.
Thinking about the UK. I'm super happy in Lanzarote and not missing the UK one bit.
Stepped off the plane at Luton and sat in back of a car on M1 and M25 was almost scary. Then we drove through High Wycombe and I'd forgotten what a shit hole it is. And folk want to live there?
I was wondering if I'd made a mistake coming over. A stop overnight in Bridgewater just made things worse.
But as we got to Hayle in Cornwall I started to chill and feel a bit better .
Spent an amazing weekend there with friends and family. Some I hadn't seen for donkey's years.
I'd forgotten how nice it is there and started to make plans to pop over again in Autumn to see 2 great pals who live there and my nephew who is stationed there.
There's still nothing I miss about the UK. Even Yorickshire.
I couldn't be happier than I am over in the sun, but it's good to know there's still a bit of the UK I feel relaxed in.
Sat at Gatwick feeling homesickness.

That's not homesickness, it's the after-effect of an over-priced sandwich and shit pint from the 'Spoons in the South Terminal.
