Ordered some heated gloves through AliExpress last year. the Post Office had them and said they were out for delivery on the 20th December but they never arrived. Post Office said our local sorting office had a massive back log due to covid and they will probably show up soon, but they would deal with Xmas post before addressing back log! I put ina dispute with ALi Express who found in favour of the Supplier! :x It just dawned on me that I may have paid through PayPal and checked to find I had. Opened a dispute through PayPal and won and I'm getting my money back! :banana-dance:

Went to a bar to meet a friend. The owners are awesome and some of my French friends. I have managed the odd conversation with her (he speaks reasonable english) but today we had a really good conversation about all sorts for about 10-15 mins whilst I waited for my friend to arrive

I know I know. I keep saying that my improving french makes me happy, but right now I don't have a lot going on except talking to people (maybe twice a day :( ), so it does make me happy that I've improved enough to have good conversations :D :D

Getting a free photoshoot with a almost graduated student who wanted to add to their portfolio. Apparently I'd make a great model! (because I move well, but I'm too ugly so it's a moot point)

Anyway the wife and me are the last people to turn to looking for sympathy as she is still all sore. Think she just learnt that
She phoned today. Still sore and still bleating on about it. I just told the wife if she phones again and i answer ill shout "Karen, Cher is in the phone" That should keep her away for at least a year

The bloke who sits at the desk next to mine is from Hong Kong, he took advantage of the UK visa scheme to get the fuck out of HK middle of last year.

He's invited me to a private showing of this...

In a community centre in Sheffield with a load of HK ex-pats.

He didn't invite anyone else, he thought I'd be the only one interested.

My son messaged me this morning that he will be home on Saturday for Easter break. So happy to have him back home for a bit!!
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.
