That was spot on, I wouldn’t have gone any further on my own.

I honestly don’t think you know if you’re going to love a bike until after several journeys on it.

Thats definitely true for me. I'm always comparing it to what I'm used to and its a good few rides in before I really get used to a bike and start seeing its own merits.

Congrats on the new steed! Awesome bikes!

It's got s22s on it which I'm very happy about. I need a single sided stand for it now.

I've got the 60mm rear axle nut socket if you need one. It's a gooden with the inner bit so it doesn't twist off when you attempt to undo it with a 4 ft bar. F o c . I'll bring it to Pembrey if you need it. 👍

Yeah, it was a bit full on wasn't it. I think I'll be putting the baffle in when it arrives.

That would be great if you don't mind, thank you. If I need one in the meantime I'll buy one and let you know. Cheers.

What size is the pin for the paddock stand? I’ve got a single sided paddock stand that I have for sale, had it for my 1299s.

27.5mm pin for the KTM.

40.6mm pin for the 1299.

You can buy the pins separately

weeksy wrote: Thu Mar 24, 2022 12:18 pm Don't forget, it's a 150bhp twin, so the fuelling is always going to be a little tricky to manage at low rpm/speeds.
I looked this up when I got home as I didn't know how much power it makes. The 1190 I was on today is supposed to make 150bhp and from what I read the 1290 sdr was claimed to make 180bhp. They both feel completely different engine wise, I think the 1290 is actually smoother on the throttle, the 1190 can be a bit jerky sometimes although I think that the soft chassis accentuates this.

Would you mind letting me know what you've got and how much you want for it please, pm is good. You're a long way from me though.
