C'mon boys and girls standards!

Those mirrors are gopping and probably useless if it's going to vibrate as much as LFG reckons and why couldn't they find a pipe bender?

Wouldn't mind seeing a version with alloy wheels instead of spoked ones too

They get a pass on that for a spanny.

To me, the styling is 4 stroke. It's more an 'era' thing than anything else, but it's got a 60s vibe to it.

Cos twostroke expansion chambers are made up from cones of various tapers and they don't play nice with bending machines, that's why lots of spannies either have lobsterback bends (as that one does) or have been pressure formed. Those two techniques are suited to low production numbers where changes can be quickly implemented into producion.
If they went to higher production numbers then they get pressed in dies but with the shapes on one plane, then the compound bends are welded up so it goes where its needed and goes through various parts of the frame and so on.

To me even the poshest inconel stainless fourstroke exhaust is fairly basic compared the the lowliest mild steel motocross expansion chamber. There's a real art into getting engine performance as well as ground clearance and making sure the rider doesn't heat his knees.
Thsts without even going near four cylinder twostrokes.

IIRC, one manufacturer was pressure forming fourstroke pipes in dies a few years ago (might have been Micron but I just can't remember for sure) which seemed a bit special but I've not heard anything recently about it so it might have gone by the wayside.

I'd be interested at how it rides with the autoclutch as well.
I like it, well... Most of it anyway.

Pretty bike but the motor and plumbing are gopping. Lipstick on a pig time.

I bet it's a hoot, mind.

I'd want forged ali (or carbon fibre) rims and a 320mm front disc but apart from that, take my money - now...
