I'll start the ball rolling with the Sealey Drill Sharpener.

Now, you don't expect a whole lot of tool for £60, but this thing is utter garbage, is back in the box and being returned.

Issues:

• Says is does 3-13mm - it doesn't. Any drill bit over 10mm it only grinds 10mm worth of it.

• The setting jig is utter tosh

• The grinding bush fit is laughable, meaning a load of slop either way - so much for getting a good angle and the split central

• The grinding bush is not only loose, but stiff and horrible to use. That's quite a feat to make something both loose and sloppy, but hard to turn

It was a long shot expecting £60 to deliver much, but...don't live in hope this thing is even worth £30....

I find most Sealey well actually all Sealey stuff to be cheap shite. Before I seen the light and thought buying cheap tools was being economical I had various Sealey stuff it's only after they break dont work let you down do you realise cheap tools are exactly that. I try if If can afford to but decent stuff like Facom teng etc. I did lower my standards a few months back and bought the Halfords pro 150 peice socket set but it was £65 so cheap and does have a lifetime guarantee. Not a fan of 12 point sockets but they will do in a pinch

Picked up one of these last week to attach brackets to posts for the new railings*.

I only cocked up one fitting out of 20+ due to crimping whilst not having everything lined up square and tight, easily sorted by drilling it out and re-doing. The M10 rivnuts don’t half take some crimping, not helped by the short arms on the riveter.

* yes, I could have welded the lugs on or bolted through but this made for a neat, simple solution and I got a new tool!

Halfords Pro tools are good quality and can often be picked well below RRP. I would say they're at least as good as Facom or Teng, and as you say they have a lifetime guarantee.
