China did reasonably well at shutting Covid out.
LOL!
Errr, no they didn't it started in China and managed to get all around the fuckin' world.
I meant after they exported it.
Even a few cases in China leads to massive locks downs for the whole area from what's been reported. After the initial outbreak they went the containment route rather than let it rip like we did.
What is now happening in Hong Kong is most likely a precursor to what will (or perhaps already is) happening in mainland China.
Hong Kong had not had more than two daily cases per 100,000 people. But that changed on 5 February this year.
Within a week of that date, cases had risen six-fold. After two weeks, there were about 25 times more cases.
By 5 March, there were almost 300 times more daily COVID cases than there were a month before.
...
the Hong Kong death rate has followed the same trend as its cases.
...
At the beginning of this month, about one in every twenty people recorded to have COVID was dying from the disease two weeks later.

You mean you believe the numbers coming out of China?

It's not the absolute numbers in question though is it? They are reporting an increase in their numbers whatever the basis for those numbers is.
Similar to HK they seem to be having their main Omicron surge now.
I was on the sheppys vintage and friels vintage last night, not to fresh at work today lol, i stayed up working on a new track.
Ill give it a bash as its a dry cider but not holding out much hope of enjoying it. Shame as Cider is perfect for my gut.
Mate neither is that dry. I don't like dry ciders myself.
Sheppys is quite sweet whereas Freils is quite sweet upfront and bitter on the finish.
I have been playing DJ sets out at this place just around the corner from me lately an they have Freils (not vintage just normal) on tap and it's really tasty, love that bitter finish, it's cider for beer drinkers...
