I do still wonder why KTM dropped the 690 Duke. It would actually make more sense to reintroduce the 690 rather than the 790. The 790 and 890 have the potential to eat each other's sales and confuse buyers, whereas the jump from a 690 single to an 890 twin is a clear step up. But then if there's a 990 on the way then all bets are off. Surely KTM won't have a 790, 890 and 990 in the model range? And R models, of course...
