Yesterday morning was awesome. I went to the cafe early for chat and met one of the customers on the way. He's always friendly and can't say Smixxy, so he calls me something else, across the cafe, which makes me blush and everyone laugh!! LOL Had the best time and was there longer than usual cos loads of people were talking to me! Shuffled home via a shop and chatted with two more locals :bblonde: :bblonde: Then switched and chatted with some UK tourists  Kinda cool

After that, mentally, things went downhill. The leg is healing fine and barely hurts but my rights side is sooooo painful :( Foot, knee and shoulder, and yesterday the right side lower back kicked in :( :( FFS! I know it's all from being a biffa and on crutches (well, the replacement shoulder isn't helping) but - FFS. My physio does rock (and one thing he does is put my left foot up on his shoulder and leans forward to bend my knee with no force/pressure - I always giggle at that!!) but, even though I need and want to get told the information, we had quite a big conversation and that didn't help either!! He doesn't want to treat my right side much as he wants to concentrate on the knee. But after discussion he's going to do some work on it on Friday. I know I should have gone to reeducation and had full time treatment, but after the experience in hospital, I just wanted to come. Might have to talk to the surgeon at the end of the month and see if I can get a couple of weeks full time in April!!

Woke up about 4am with tummy ache, so I've gotten up to go to the loo sometimes, made a cuppa (that I didn't like :o) and back to the sofa with tummy ache and feeling a bit sick. Waiting on the nurse to administer the barbaric anti coag injection :( :( There has to be a better way :( :(

But, cos I feel bad, I've read the side effects - yup, nausea, tummy problems. FFS!!! Doesn't seem to be an oral version and the physio upset me yesterday by telling me that I'll have to stay on the bastard injections until I can put some weight through the bad leg. I do understand, but Fck Me its unpleasant and not helping my brain!!! despite the side effects and the hatred of needles, my thighs and tummy are covered in bruises and lumps from the bastard injection :( :( :(

Hey ho - sunshine tomorrow and I'll feel better!! Just tough to see basically only the nurse and the physio and occasionally a random friend asks if I need anything. If a mate wasn't out on holiday, I'd have gone all this week only seeing healthcare people and my friend that runs the cafe - tough in a place that is so social :(

Oh and I did manage to make a call to the surgeon's secretary to request a prescription for a taxi to the appointment on 30th March - of course, she's got the hospital wrong and the pick up point wrong  But I don't have to call now as I have the email!! LOL :D :D

Had a shower this morning and whilst toweling myself down I noticed a deep, black-purple bruise, about the size of a 5p coin, on the side of my todger. :o

Surely, had I done anything to cause said bruise, such as whacking my nob on a wall or suchlike, I would remember it. But I don't... :wtf:

How odd.

Back from taking a funeral for a 100 year old gentleman. His youngest son did the eulogy so movingly. He was very emotional, and rightly so, but spoke clearly and with great love. It is such an honour to preside at such ceremonies and to give a fitting send off for the family and friends to take part in.
Proverbs 17:9
One who forgives an affront fosters friendship, but one who dwells on disputes will alienate a friend.

You reckon? Don't really want to over-react. I've Goggled it, and admittedly there is a condition that turns your entire John Thomas purple, we're not in that territory yet.

I'll give it a couple of days and I reckon it'll either get better or drop off.

Nope. Been there, done that, cried the tears of pain...

This has just come from nowhere. Just been for a whazz and had a better look. The middle of the bruise has a bit of a pronounced 'bump'. Must have been a bit of a bleed in there. Burst blood vessel or summat?

That's the one that came with the original mudguard. Gonna get another soon, but I never see the back end, so no rush.
