I don't like the vents in the clutch casing or the exhaust wrap, but other than those, I like it!

well things like the rear brake and lots of the other bits including the fork legs still have patina, But some bits have been fluffed up a bit yes..

I've given it a thumbs up cos at first glance it didn't look too bad at all. Then I thought the seat looked a bit wrong, followed by the stupid exhausts and then the gap where they've made the oil tank smaller. I did go off it a bit after that...

Nah. Wouldn't want to own or ride it. The high level pipes are wrong and bandaging them doesn't help. All right if you like that sort of thing but nostalgia only gets you so far.

Speaking of nostalgia, when I moved to this house I found a local chap with a collection of ermm...semi-classic bikes that hired them out. Everything from Ducati to a Panther combo. I got in touch with my chum from the teenage 2-wheel years and suggested we did a bit of 'memory laning*'. His response: 'Old bikes, you must be joking! Don't go, don't stop and you come home in an RAC van. Kick start? Yeh, right'.

(So we rode down to Bury Hill and Arundel on our thoroughly modern 650 single and 1150 flat twin instead )

*It's a bit like green laning only vaguer.

Oil tank has been cut in half to fit the K&Ns, normally its like a parallelogram sticking forward. Reducing oil capacity might make the oil run hotter.
I'd love another Triton so despite my comments I'd give it a space in my garage

The 750 Bonneville carried 4 pints, which was a bit marginal if anything was leaking.

You push the bike from the trailer to the display stance, then remove the clingfilm.
