Honda Dax
Who doesn't love a Dax... and a dachshund.
Seems Honda are launching a new Dax... which looks just like the old Dax.

Re: Honda Dax
I wonder how much they'll be. I might replace the Vox110 with a Dax for motorhome duties, because, well, a Dax is cool as fuck.

Re: Honda Dax
I reckon they'll be a little bit more than a Monkey or Grom. £3.5k+ ?
More fun than the old one as they're a 125cc but still have the centrifugal clutch for that absence of grace off the line at the lights

Re: Honda Dax
In this neck of the woods it should be called a Honda Dag judging by the people I've seen on that type of bike.

Re: Honda Dax
I like it! Great for fun on a sunny day. I don’t think it will outsell the MSX-125. Certainly not as ugly as the Monkey with the disproportionate seat size.
Honda seem to be cornering the market on small bikes. They have obviously tuned in to the cost of transport in the U.K. - rail, petrol etc.
I wish Suzuki would wake up and bring back the VanVan 200.
When I last spoke to one of their staff he said they were deleting too many models without replacements.

Suzuki have virtually given up on bikes.

Re: Honda Dax
They're small, ridiculous, cheap, sooo slow, and you just ride like an absolute div on them.
You'd have to try one to see if it's for you - they really are slow.
Also, not much point on the original exhaust, but the bean can pipes are too much.

Re: Honda Dax
For you though Morti slow is fine I think? Presumably you're still in Malta and before that it was Gib...so small, parkable and chuckable are what you really want.
Contrast that with me, living in MK. Its about 200m from my house and then you're on the 70mph grid roads. Id have to gi out of my way to find somewhere with slow narrow streets Shame really, cause I quite like the look of the MSX, but even nipping into town for me involves NSL dual cabbageways.

Re: Honda Dax
There's a chap around my area who rides a Honda Grom with no numberplate. He wears the reg plate on his back like a rucksack. I think that,at least, fulfils the brief of being an absolute div.

Yes it is and he knows it!KungFooBob wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 10:34 amIf it's a 70's one and an original Honda engine, etc.. then it could be worth £3-4k!
He has heaps of bikes he says he'll sell when he's finished building his house so he can get a porsche, but the Dax, he's keeping along with my old Superduke. Everything else will go.....

Re: Honda Dax
I've done that. Cheap tail tidy fell off, half way up the mountain to Ronda. There's a picture somewhere from the bloke who takes pictures of people on superbikes dragging their knees round the mountain pass, at speeds a Grom can't dream of.
