Re: A right now thread
Right now I have a hankering for a Tunnocks Caramel wafer, like the ones my two colleagues were scoffing when I dropped in on them earlier. Bastards.

Solving the drainage problem at the top of the back garden. At least it'll save cutting the grass for a while.

Re: A right now thread
Apparently we've had an earthquake!!!
I'm feeling a bit left out. Loads of people I know felt the earth move!!! Ok, most of them live in the valley or at the lower part of the mountain. But up here I didn't feel a thing I was rather concentrating on whether Ireland would actually beat England, but even so. Missed out on the earth moving, again!!! LOL
A magnitude 4.2 earthquake near Albertville, Savoie, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France, was reported only 6 minutes ago by the Swiss Seismological Service (SED), considered the main national agency that monitors seismic activity in this part of the world. The earthquake occurred at a shallow depth of 11.2 km beneath the epicenter early evening on Saturday, March 12th, 2022, at 6:03 pm local time. The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations, or as other agencies issue their report.
A second report was later issued by the citizen-seismograph network of RaspberryShake, which listed it as a magnitude 4.3 earthquake. Other agencies reporting the same quake include France's Réseau National de Surveillance Seismique (RéNaSS) at magnitude 4.3, and the German Research Center for Geosciences (GFZ) at magnitude 4.3.
Based on the preliminary seismic data, the quake was probably felt by many people in the area of the epicenter. It should not have caused significant damage, other than objects falling from shelves, broken windows, etc.
In Grignon (pop. 2,000) located 1 km from the epicenter, and Albertville (pop. 19,100) 3 km away, the quake should have been felt as light shaking.
Weak shaking might have been felt in Seynod (pop. 18,600) located 34 km from the epicenter, Annecy (pop. 49,200) 34 km away, Annecy-le-Vieux (pop. 21,500) 35 km away, Cran-Gevrier (pop. 19,400) 35 km away, Aix-les-Bains (pop. 27,700) 36 km away, and Chambery (pop. 61,600) 36 km away.
LOL

Egg and bacon bab with a delicious latte from The Hill Top Cafe sat a very quiet Devil's Dyke. Thinking about moving to Wales assuming that I can take my job with me.

My minimum requirements are heating, running water, decent internet and somewhere safe to put the bike. Anything else, is a bonus. On top of a mountain would be a big bonus.
