Bastianini is a force to be reckoned with.

Suzuki's one lap pace is still not quite there, but the top speed is.

Yamaha are all at sea. They've made the smallest step of all the manufacturers. And are slow (comparatively).

Honda now have a bike that suits Pol, but doesn't seem to suit Marc quite so well.

Ducati have their sights on world domination.

KTM aim to spoil their fun.

Aprilia are not far off the front.

Yamaha in trouble as could be the factory Ducs. But esp Yamaha, most bikes have improved they look like they've stood still. 12kph down on the straight is a big handicap to make up.

Pleased for Asparagus he went really well. Really pleased for Pol looks like he might have a bike he likes. Also good for Marc as 5th is a solid ride for now.

The Beast and Brad were great

I think everyone expected the Ducati 2022 bike to be even better than the 2021 bike (which was the class of the field by the end of the 2021 season), but it hasn't happened like that. I'm sure they'll develop the 2022 bike so it is faster, but it's a question of how long it takes. From the Beast's perspective, he's in a good place now, but will Ducati update the 2021 bike over the season or is this as good as it gets?

Agree about Yamaha - they simply aren't taking this as seriously as the other factories. I remember Eddie Lawson saying that every time they won the Championship they became complacent and next year's bike lacked development. Tellingly, Lawson's Yamaha championship winning years were 1984, 1986 and 1988, which rather bears his point out.

The Moto3 was a bit settled until the race leader developed problems, then it was back to top entertainment. Even the usually dull Moto2 was quite good.

Great to see the beast bag one for that Gresini team.

The third Duck team winning must be a kick in the pants for the bosses.

But was good to see DiGi hugging Mrs Grasini straight after the race.

Anyone know what caused Miller's DNF? Certainly Pecco taking out Jorge Martin on the Primark Duke wasn't good for the brand...

OK, thanks. They're banned from using GPS to tell the bike what part of the circuit they're on, so the software has to be 'told' the sequence of corners and then it figures out where it is on the racetrack and applies the correct settings.

Or not, as in Jack's case...
