Bike consolidation

I really need some distraction from work before I go nuts so here's a bike buying game that could result in me buying a new bike...

I current have these bikes that do these things...
DRZ 400E - green laning. Great at this but a bit shit for riding to wales and then green laning or doing the tet if I fancied doing that as it's wobbly as bollocks on the road at speed. Worth roughly 3k.
KTM 950SM - back road playing. Good fun, bit sketchy handling sometimes but good for playing in the absence of the CBR1000RR that I took off the road. Feels about the right level of power for fun but I wouldn't take it very far as it vibes a bit. Worth about 3.5k.
KTM 1190 Adventure S - travelling and commuting. Very fast but very big. I don't commute any more and can't see myself ever doing that regularly enough again to need this. It's very good for travelling to the other end of the country but I used to do that on the CBR. This feels under used to say the least but I do love it. Worth about 6.5k

So there's about 13k there to fund a couple of bikes to cover the bases of green laning, fun and occasional travel/touring and I might be able to find a bit more. What would you get (or keep)?

BTW, I have a CBR1000RR that is a track only bike that I'm keeping and I won't be putting back on the road as it's way too fast and not so fun on the lanes and I'm rebuilding a zxr750 too that realistically might be ready before next year.

My old man had a DRZ-E, he changed the front sprocket and it topped out at 90mph (I was fallowing him on my R6).

It was a slug off road compared to my KDX220R tho'

I had a DRZ400S, it'd scrape 100mph on 15/44 gearing, the E runs 14/47, I found 15/47 to be about right.
And yes a KDX220R is quicker and easier to ride off road in tight going, DRZ kicks arse on fast fire roads, you can easily hit 70mph off road on one.

I've had no problem with the drz's ability to reach the speeds, I just hit my level of bravery in dealing with the resulting weaves and general twitchiness on mud tyres about 60.

They're a bit interesting on tarmac with enduro knobblies on, braking requires bravery.

If you want to go off road, do it properly. Not a big heavy dual purpose beast.

Good point. I took the 1190 on to Salisbury plain on the gravel roads and after half an hour fucked that off and bought the drz.

Idea 2...
Keep the DRZ
Chop the 1190 and 950 in against a 1290 super duke gt.

If I had that kind of budget to play with and wanted to go on and off road -which I do- but don't have the budget, it'd be a proper road legal enduro bike to van or trailer to the lanes,enduros ,Mx track etc + something like a Tracer 7/900 for road riding, commuting and touring.

But then again if you just want to mess around on lanes , the DRZ is just about ideal . It's all a compromise isn't it.

I'd be bored with a tracer, I think either of my KTMs would be more engaging although probably not 'better'.

I've got three bikes and I think I only need two. Initially I though I could cover the off road and the distance stuff with a 790/890 but Yorick pointed out it would be a lump and then I remembered that the 1190 was a lump off road and agreed. I then thought I could cover the scratching and distance stuff with a superduke gt and keep the drz and that's where I am now.

I'd go little dirt bike, light and crashy, then a nice bigger bike for road. You've got track covered.

Of late I've felt that bike buying is not always best driven by logic. The buy what you want, without overthinking it approach can work.
