I passed my test a few years before those Sidewinders came out so I've never ridden a bike with one fitted,anyone on here had the Sidewinder experience?

I took my test after the 125 law came in but i did have a go on a 250 LC with a sidewinder fitted when i was 16 .... it weighed fuck all and would bounce up and hit you in the leg while leant over in a corner on left handers . The law changed in 1983 to 125cc so i missed it by a year

A local guy had a Sidewinder on a Yamaha FJ1100.

He also complained that it came up and bashed him at 100 mph.
