I suspect that by the time someone is admiral, being reet good at paggering like a dead ard gadgee doesn't make a fuck of difference and just being able to formulate good plans is more of an attribute.

Sounds like you haven’t heard about Biden’s favourite “admiral” before.

Perhaps it wouldn’t scare Putin all that very much.

I'm not entirely sure about this but I suspect you missed the point entirely.
What part of being a boy/girl/hairdresser excludes them from being an affective admiral?

Now they may possibly just be shite at their job but so far that doesnt seem to have been in your complaints so er.... whats yer point old man?

You don’t have to read the link if you don’t want to, but you’re right, he may be as effective an “admiral” as the average hairdresser.

The captioned picture is a silly joke. If you don’t think it’s at all funny, my advice is just don’t laugh.

Morrisons are running low on toilet roll :obscene-birdiedoublered:

It was my Mum's birthday during the week so we had some family visit. Us older folk were laughing at the younger folk as they had real soft toilet tissue when they were at school. What's wrong with using news paper or the Amazon brown packaging paper for a few weeks? Snowflakes!

Massive queues for petrol at the local Sainsburys station. No petrol at Asda station. High prices in local petrol agents. Doomed, we are all doomed. I still have 1/2 a tank. Will do till Wednesday, but I'll try to fill up tomorrow if I get a chance as I have quite a lot of driving to do in the next few days.

And no pocket tissues in Lidl, but plenty in Wilko, but toilet paper is being raided again. the new currency is being flushed.

Can we not start a fake panic to keep all the panickers busy? I don't like tinned peaches - can we start claiming a peach shortage?

The only bog roll my local Morrisons had today is the same organic coconut stuff that's left on the shelf during every panic buy. I wonder if they will finally get the message that nobody wants it.

McEwans Champion is surprisingly good. One of those strong beers (think its 7.5%) that has a good bit of flavour.
Export is pretty gash though and Tenements is fucking mingin

Champion isn’t a Scottish lager.

Indeed McEwansnot a lager, thats why I called it a beer up there^.
It is however described on McEwans website as "Scotlands Premium beer" and brewed by McEwans which is how come I thought to point out that its quite nice in my opinion.

Although where we end up when we look at which brewer owns who could go way further cos they're all likely owned by a shell company running from a supoosedly very busy office in Turcs & Caicos. Maybe.

I was talking to a well-heeled American the other day and he said that the smart people with money are buying land with a water supply, with a view to being self-sufficient in the future, because they can see where this is ultimately going.
I thought it wasn't a bad idea, until I remembered that if it gets that bad then people would just come and steal your food from you if they want it.
You'd think an American would know that the cowboy and the farmer can't be friends.

I do enjoy a couple of Champions. Not just because of the taste, either- it gets me drunk, fast!
