Been waiting for it to arrive before ordering stuff but will start sorting that now. Probably won't be ridden for a few weeks yet but soon hopefully if it warms up and Herts Highways stop salting daily
Weather looks reasonable tomorrow
Walkers Snack Bar at Barton Mills tomorrow between 12 and 1, be there or be somewhere else (or suggest somewhere better, I could easily do Finchingfield or Krazy Horse)

I've got my folks 50th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow but can't see me riding it yet. The only salt I want this bike to see is what I put on my chips at the seaside! Herts have been spreading the last 3 nights running and the roads are covered. Otherwise yes, even today wasn't too bad.

I'm hoping the salt will be magically gone by tomorrow, I haven't ridden it since getting Covid

Do new bikes still need running in?
I know they stopped bothering with cars years ago.
I'm sure the manual will say so. Last few new bikes I've had I've ridden them pretty much normally but without red lining it or reving it too much. But I won't for example be riding round at 4k revs for 600 miles. Equally I won't be bouncing it off the limiter other. To be fair on a 1000cc it's not like you need to rev it much to get a lick on.
