Hope he’s got some suitably garish goggles to match it 😂

Nice! Not tried a Bell. It's definitely one of the better looking convertible helmets (in my eyes at least)!

I tried it and weirdly it fits lovely as an open face, but a disaster to me as a FF. Confusing.

Me and the lad have both got one and for me it's the other way around, I don't like it too much as an open face but full face is tip top.

Was not impressed with my Rockshox Deluxe Select+ shock so bought a Megneg. Wow, from harsh now have a plush shock. But with one token out (leaving one in) and two negative spacers still not using full travel. So think I might remove the remaining token - has anyone else mucked around with Megnegs and if so what did you change? I'm 80k with a Trek Rail 5 2022 with Rockshock Pike Ultimate 150mm forks btw (stock is 160 forks).

Edit: token

Nopes, never. I went coil by circumstances rather than planning, but love it.

Stock shock + Megneg feels like coil, not bad for Megneg which costs £71. Piece of piss to service too. Wife also has a Rail so will now give her shock the Megneg treatment. Told her that and she just chuckled. Dirty gurl.

Was going to go out with Mrs irie today and test the shock travel again but at 8.45 the wind is already blowing over 30 knots and forecast to increase. So it's a duvet day and maybe a visit to our beach hut at West Wittering to see if it's still there and in one piece ...

New 36T Eagle chain ring for the Curtis, the old one has 1800 miles on it and looking a bit worn. New ISM PM2.0 saddle as again the original ISM Peak that I got for peanuts off eBay has nearly 2700 miles on it and is looking rather worn out.

The chain still looks pretty new so hopefully I won't need to renew that and the cassette though looking tired still seems to shift OK.

2x 30 chain rings for both steeds
and some orange Nukeproof pedals as they are discounted on CRC at the moment.

New gloves, hopefully more bramble and blackthorn resistant than the Troy Lee and Endura gloves I’ve got.

Probably on the hotter days but the last couple of years since I’ve been office based at work and lost my asbestos hands I’ve had some poor manky thorn/bramble cuts and splinters, one of which required antibiotics so I’m going to see how I get on. I might even pack them in the camelbak for trails and swap to a lighter pair for XC.

TBH, that seems like a good idea - my hands are getting ripped up from South Downs brambles and bushes.
I would also like a long sleeved shirt that does pull, rip or snag at the sign of the first twig!

Not for the bike but for the engine - SIS have got up to 40% across their products at the moment and a further 15% off all purchases if you use the code MISSYOU15.

So hydration tabs, gels and a couple of new 800ml bottles ordered - which also got me a free 600ml bottle.

Bought some sunnies, muc off, white spirit, tow ball mounted bike carrier, light bar, numberplate and over shoes this week 🤣

We’re off to Northumberland on Sunday for a few days so I wanted a better option for the bike as my roof rack one didn’t extend wide enough for the massive Diverge downtube.
