S1000RR Sport 2022
A bit premature as I won’t be getting it until March but the order is in, so no pictures or anything just yet.
I wanted a black sport which comes with exactly what I want, added the M chain and also the pillion pack, the pillion pack made perfect sense because from the factory it’s free but to purchase afterwards it’s £300+ whereas the seat cowl is only £100 afterwards.
The Sport comes with the dynamic package which includes
Dynamic Damping control
Ride mode Pro
Heated grips
USB
Cruise control
Tyre pressure control
The plan will be to fit a radiator and oil cooler guard, tail tidy and some crash protection and that’s about it.
Just a matter of waiting now.

The waiting is the hardest part.

She won’t mind, she’s been added as a named rider, she’ll be selling her K7 600 as she’ll be wanting something newer further down a the line, but she has her heart set on another dog so her bike will fund that.

Tyre pressure control?
How's that work? I've seen pressure sensors but not control.

Slightly disappointed it's not blue, red and pink.

Apparently so, It was never something I was fussed about but the salesman recommended it so went with it.
M Endurance Chain
More power at the rear wheel: The M Endurance chain with DLC-coated rollers is characterised by low friction and reduced maintenance. The diamond-like carbon coating is extremely hard and reduces efficiency losses to a minimum. Maintenance costs are also reduced thanks to DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon)

It’s just what it says, probably nothing more than a sensor but it’s stated as above in the dynamic package.Count Steer wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 4:52 pm Tyre pressure control?

Re: S1000RR Sport 2022
Needs a distraction activity to help the time go quickly. Sorting out the garage should do it.
(Although, in my case it would take me up to March 23 ).

Re: S1000RR Sport 2022
Got relevant information through yesterday via email stating the estimated handover date to be the 12th but because my current insurance finishes on the 19th of March I’ve put it off until then for collection.
So 19th of March before the fun begins.
