Hein Gerricke Master V suit

Post by PitaNaanRoti »

this thing just doesn't die!
Bought brand new from Hein Gerricke in Portsmouth.
Its goretex, storm cuffs, storm collar, loads of adjustments, etc.
Quilted and removable liner, waterproof pockets and more.
These are a well know suit but moving over to Rukka it just doesn't get any use.
Freshly treated.
Collection only on this really as it fairly heavy although I could no doubt arrange a meet somewhere.
Will get actual photos later if I've time.
Will be down in Hants for the next few days if anyone wants me to put it on the car?
Jacket is a generous 50
Trousers a generous 48
£125 seems reasonable.

Damn, six sizes too big. I'd have had your arm off up to the elbow otherwise.

6 sizes? You realise that’s only a 40” chest and. 30/32” waist?

Ok, 4 sizes too large, still too big.

So it's not for you then Ricey? I could cope with the jacket but still got to lose a couple or 3 inches on the waist before that size of trousers are in scope. :(

I’m a 30/32” waist and the adjuster are pulled fully in.
It uses sliding buckles rather than Velcro so has never not stayed put.
Reckon they’ll go out to a 36 buy can always put a tape across them

I'm not in need - just thinking that Rockburner is/was last time I saw him bigger than me, rather than a 26in waist, 34in chest elf :) ). Good move with the Rukka, well pleased with mine. It's survived day long monsoon type conditions and the exterior dries fast so v wearable the following day compared with other fabric suits that wet out.

I went to Rukka in 2016 so this was pulled out on those days when I was jumping in the 14 or something as the Rukka wasn’t comfortable on that. Navigatorr isn’t cut for the sports tourer crouch!
No longer have the 14 so this is just hanging in the wardrobe with lots more spare bike kit that is all going to be sold on now I’m moving and downsizing

Last time i saw you, you were smaller than me, by about 3 sizes! .... What happened?

Oh, hang on, just realised the sizes are in Euro. Ignore me, the suit is too small for me, not too large.

Far too small for me  Those are brilliant pieces of kit and a very reasonable price. If it was a 50" jacket and 42" trousers I'd have it straight off!

Jacket is right size for me, but I am a slender waif with a 42" waist, so trousers would be a tad large. Am interested in jacket if that is an option.

The trousers are 32" waist so should fit a slender waif! (You don't look like a 42" waist in the pix you've posted :D ).
