Brabus usually make Mercedes and Smart cars go very very fast.
It's a change to see them branch out into making ugly motorcycles even uglier.

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
They put extra engines in Smart cars and stuff, I'm pretty sure there was an F1 team at some point.

Normally they fit 800bhp V8s to Merc saloons and the like.Skub wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 2:27 pmAh,car bits. That's why they didn't register with me.KungFooBob wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 2:25 pm Brabus usually make Mercedes and Smart cars go very very fast.

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
I would have expected a 220+bhp animal from Brabus. Sounds like they've branched out in to making tat?

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
TBF they've always made tat
But I thought the same as you. If you say "Brabus" I immediately picture a car with far too much power and a snowplough bumper. The KTM seems tame by their standards

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
Bloke I know has a Brabus Smart car.
As well as a TVR Cerbera (sp?) and various other bits and bats.
The Smart Car is so it fits into the awkward lane behind his office.

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
Saw a Brabus Smart car in Dubai, which I thought was a waste of time and money. if they wanted more poke they could have got a Mini Cooper or some other small hot hatch.

In the case of the bloke I know, I seriously doubt even an old style mini wouldn't manage the turn into his office property.

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
Looks like a CB1000R, it’ll be sold out bought by the same people that buy the brands cars as it’s pocket change. Poor effort tbh

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
I had a Smart Brabus, one of the early 700cc things. It was an OK thing to own and drive but hardly what you'd call high performance. 0-60 was around 10 seconds, so on par with an average family car. I'd have no problem owning another.

Re: KTM BRABUS 1300
Wow, that's really hideous from the side-on view, that syling job has made it look really fat and heavy, and dull too-yuk.
I much prefer the look of the standard (2020 onwards) bike - even with the standard numberplate hanger
And with a few £k to play with for some special paint , plating and choice bling I reckon I could improve it further and do a much better job than Brabus have
