Re: What have you done today thread?
Did a couple of transfers. Home relatively early.
Saw physio - he's very happy with how my shoulder and muscles are, especially considering that I'm not doing much in the way of 'actual' physio exercises at the moment. He recently got back on the snow after a serious ankle break has stopped him skiing and boarding - he had a go on a sit-ski and bloody loved it! Was so so chuffed for him cos I know how awesome it is to get back to a sport you love, even if in a slightly different way!!
Late transfer tomorrow (typical, day off on Friday and I get home about 1 or 2am on Friday - and it's likely to snow on Friday morning ) so I am planning to get up early, do a bit os ski touring then come back and snooze for a bit before I head out Was planning a big tour on Friday morning, but if it snows, that isn't gonna be fun!! LOL
Anyway - just had a fish finger sarnie and heading to bed!

Don't get me started.
I thought it was a daft idea to waste half the space, plus I have concerns about the wind getting under the exposed roof and fucking it a few gardens away.
But.
That's what she wants.

It's a pitiful attempt to claim back some garage space.

Raced a man in a Porsche 911 down the Doncaster by-pass section of the A1M at 4:50am, progress was dramatically slowed to legal speeds after a couple miles by slower traffic... just as we passed a Pig Perch with an X5 on it.

I'm working half day today as I'm going on an outing with my Mum OK, so it's in hospital transport and it's for an iron infusion for her. But it is at Haywards Heath which will be a nice ride (better than going into Brighton) and it will be good to do "something" with her.

Yesterday I went to the big city and even went to a pub at Temple, loads of tourists around but very few workers. It was a shock to see a nearly empty pub in lawyer land.

Re: What have you done today thread?
I had a lie in as I got home from work at 2am - and it was snowing no I wasn't going to get up to go touring!!!! I'm a bit surprised at the company I am working for as, in general they are great.
But I have a day off where I finished work at 2 am this morning and will start again (at the moment) at 4am tomorrow - which means getting up soon after 3am. Not a winge as such but it does kinda mess with a day off to finish into it and start at stupid o'clock after it!!

Cut my lawns. Apart from the leafless trees it looks like a summers day out there! I'm off to physio shortly and will have the roof down when I'm driving there!

Re: What have you done today thread?
Been on a 4 hour Enduro ride and feel great
My pal runs an enduro tour company and sometimes invites me along for the ride I don't pay of course All good excercise for me.
Today was 2 Italians pals who both had 1290 Multistradas and never been off road. I'm usually at the back to sweep up
They hadn't a clue at first, but Paul is a good coach and soon they were doing tricky and fun bits.
My hand is improving and should be out with the lads soon

Re: What have you done today thread?
I skied to meet some friends for lunch and skied home!! I skied down there in proper flat light which I always avoid. I have considered the experience and definitely feel that I have been correct to avoid skied in flat light
Had lunch with my ski instructor friends. Bloody brilliant. The usual two and two others I rarely see and one I'd not bet before. A whole lunchtime of talking French with friends. Fantastic. I saw the usual two over Christmas but not since. The other two that I know I've not seen for about 2 years and they were so complimentary about my French speaking. I do still struggle with the comprehension but I think I just need to go out more and do more conversation. It's only practice that will get me to understand better. So MTFU and get on with it!!
Then I skied home - sun was out so, despite the yellow lens on my visor, I figured it would be better. Well, visibility was but - sooooooooooo many people
So I'm home and chilling. It looks like it will snow again overnight, so I need to leave earlier than 4am so I can get there in time, and also need to pick up a baby seat on the way through to Val d'Isere, so as much snooze as I can get this afternoon will be a bonus!!! Some day off!! LOL
