Expenses allowing I can see an evening at Snetterton now being on the cards. I'll look into Pembrey though it's a bloody long way from Herford.
I'm sure there's people who'd share a van... The distance is not significant when you take into context the fact of how many RTTLers we've got coming, the people you've not met, the ones you have, the ones you'd like to.... All having lots of fun, banter, tracktime and beers.
It's hard to put into words just how ace a weekend it is.

Only concern with these type is do they transfer more force to the frame? I know they are designed not too but worry you save the cases/tank and write the frame off. Although that much force would knacker the bike anyway I guess.

If i crash my bike either with or without protection on i will drag it down the road and run it over with my car, if it's gone down, i don't want it back. There's a million other MT07s out there, i'll have a new one.
I had a non-branded frame bung kit on my Desmo racebike.
It replaced the front engine mount bolt that ran all the way through the front of the engine and out the sides of the frame that big black nylon bung attached too.
When I had my off at Cadwell they looked to have done a good job. Halfway through the next meeting the front engine mount castings cracked and a chunk fell off!
The first thing I put on mine was an Evotech rad guard. With short front mudguards and the state of the roads,it doesn't take much for a random piece of road debris to spoil your day.

Yup that and a pyramid front extender... much as i don't like it, it does a great job along with the rad guard.
Tell you what @Supermofo , check if the GSXR750 K8 is the same Rad protector, i've got a brand new one boxed in the loft from when we nearly bought the gsxr last year.
