It’s the traction control, or the lack of.

But it states in the description…….

Traction Control.

I think people like the guy who I had the argument with many years ago mistaken the power mode select button with traction control, it has nothing to do with traction control.

It’s a 2009 bike and has the power mode select button which started with the 2007 bike I believe. No traction control.

Suppose it depends how you ride but I’ve managed some good returns with regards to mpg, I think most bikes in general can be generous with what you get considering the performance. The 1299s was shocking but that was to be expected.

Actually thinking about it, yes I guess on a 1000cc a lot of the time you are using not a lot of it's potential. Esp on a run where you aren't going Banzai. Having said that I remember my Blade being more economical at 100mph than 70, I guess as it was at a more efficient part of the engines tuning. I doubt I'd have got that passed the rossers though

Based around the GSX-R750 K5’s inline four, the GSX-S750’s engine is smooth and lacks any surprises. It’s easy to live with, sounds great when revving and has a good throttle connection. The three-stage traction control works well and the clutch is light, however overall it does lack that spark of excitement that its rivals boast.

Yes I'm sure, you can feel it cutting the power if you accelerate hard on gravel or in the wet.

And I think I'm getting mid 30s mpg at best, but I ride like a twat.
