Currently watching “The House of Boba Fett” on Disney. Very Star Wars universe with a touch of Western about it. I’m enjoying it.

Monte Walsh. Here's the best bits and I've found one in foreign speak to spare you the dialogue...

"Good Girls"

It's kinda kooky, kinda fun, kinda daft, kinda serious... but all in all... kinda watchable too.

I'm quite enjoying it :)

They don't, you right - not normally anyway!

The trouble now is that films are so bloody expensive to make you need to bring it all down to the lowest common denominator to ensure the maximum number of people will watch it.

Plus ABTF doesn't have a happy ending, not really. And we can't have that in this day and age :D

Incredibly un-pc but representative of a different era/generation with a lot of pooftas and p*ki references. Funny film , offset by the irony of the ending, well almost!

I’m enjoying that as well.

The Mandalorian was an interesting addition this week.

Both my kids binge-watched Ozark S4 and loved it, but I struggled with the first episode. I think I've forgotten too much from the previous series?

Can't get into the latest season for Ozark. Will try again later as I'm old its worth sticking with?

I watched a remake of An Inspector Calls. Twas a good effort, it must be said!

I really like An Inspector Calls. I saw that version before Christmas and enjoyed it. David Thewlis is always good value for money.

It did look pretty good however, is it worth persevering with?
It's a long 2 parter so you need to really feel it. I don't think Mrs weeksy will bother with part 2 but I will
I finally sat down and watched it properly and what a great film it was. I'm glad I gave it another go.

Only got to wait till Oct 2023 to see part 2. :(

Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom

Excellent docu which covers the 2013/14 uprising after President Yanukovich attempted to steer the country towards Russian influence, having promised closer ties to the EU. Not for the squeamish as there are many very brutal scenes, but given the current situation it's worth watching to get an understanding of how far ordinary Ukranians will go to be free of Russian interference.

This is going to hurt

BBC adaptation of Adam Kaye's book.

Started last night, watched the first episode on iplayer this evening.

Very well done, catches the humour and horror of the book.

We’ve just binge watched all the episodes and it’s not often we do that - really good quality TV.
