A pal's borrowed my Beta Xtrainer for a few days for his Enduro tour business and left his bike and keys here.
I'd take it out if me hand was strong enough ;)

A mate has has a few of them. He has the HP something or other at the moment. He had it flashed last year and bog stock aside from and exhaust,it punted out 206 at the rear wheel. Even the dyno dude raised an eyebrow!

I like the shape, but I've never been mad on any of the paint schemes.

I like the colour and he loves it. We've toured the islands together a few times and it does go well.
But he's an ex London despatch rider :D

I’ve had a few of them and love them, came away from them when I purchased the 1299s.

Got a new one on the way so looking forward to that.

I imagine that will be the HP4 which was the first of them to be shod with the DDC(2013 or 14 iirc) which became readily available on the 2015 onwards if specced to have it, most that weren’t were for race teams.

Not to be confused with the HP4 Race which wasn’t road legal, track only bike.

I’ll wait until it’s here before putting anything up. Should be March sometime.

Got any early plans for changes/tweaks - having had similar before?

Just the usual subtle changes, tail tidy, taller screen, some crash protection, I’ll have to purchase the seat cowl as I specced it with the pillion pack, Saves money that way as the cowl is £100 versus £300+ for the pillion pack whereas whichever one you spec the bike with its free.

I’ll probably throw on a set of S22 tyres and keep the Metzeler Racetec which it comes with for another day.

My go to tyres over the last x amount of years have been either the Rosso 3 or S22’s, for the road and occasional track day you don’t need anything else, the grip in the wet is superb which means you never get caught out or shit yourself, only thing to be concerned about is wanting to clean the bike when you get home when it’s been pissing it down, which it does up here pretty much everyday.
